How do I pay in stores?

When you’re ready to pay, hold your iPhone 8 or earlier near the contactless reader. You’ll see a prompt asking you to perform Touch ID. Place your finder on the home button and when the transaction has completed, the word “Done” and a tick will appear on the screen.

If you’re using an iPhone X, double-click the side button, then glance at your phone to authenticate with Face ID or enter your passcode. Hold the top of the phone near the contactless reader until you see the word “Done” and a tick on the screen.
